The HBSAA Board of Directors is a representative group of alumni who meet two times a year to learn directly from faculty and staff about new developments at the School and to encourage and initiate alumni activities.
The purposes of the Board are to:
- communicate to the Dean, faculty, staff and students of Harvard Business School the interests and concerns of HBS alumni worldwide
- propose actions to enhance the well-being of HBS alumni with an emphasis on improving the on-going education and participation of HBS alumni
- encourage communication of the School's activities, priorities and educational resources to the alumni.
The Board reflects the inherent diversity of HBS constituencies: a broad geographical base; a variety of industries; a balance of MBA, Doctoral, and Executive Education degrees; and a range of ages. Board members are drawn from the pool of current and recent past Club presidents, class correspondents, fund agents, and other active alumni from around the world. Members are expected to attend two meetings a year at HBS, future Global Leadership Forums and are strongly encouraged to support the School's annual giving program.
