To kick off the fall re-launch of the Centennial Virtual Learning Series, we invite ALL alumni to participate in this special event normally reserved for Alumni Club members. These one-hour conference calls feature an HBS professor discussing a topic of significant interest followed by a Q&A session, where alumni have the opportunity to pose questions in real-time (via email).
Professor Bill George, who is the author of two best-selling books on leadership, True North and Authentic Leadership and the former chairman and CEO of Medtronic, will discuss the state of leadership in business and non-profit organizations and describe what is required to transform leadership in the 21st Century to create sustainable success and effective organizations. He will also address leadership development and the efforts at HBS to develop new leadership development models for students, both MBAs and executives, that will result in authentic leadership that is both effective and sustainable.
To register for this limited capacity (1000 alumni) event, please call 1-800-925-8000 (within the U.S. and Canada) or 1-334-260-9999 (outside the U.S. and Canada) and request registration for the “Harvard University conference call on September 17th, 2008 at 12:00pm EDT.” If you are unable to participate in this call but are interested in learning about future Virtual Learning Series calls, please contact your local Alumni Club www.clubhub.hbs.org.
